The Strategic Plan 2018 – 2021 builds on the work undertaken to develop and launch the Student Strategy in 2016 and the St Lucia Campus Masterplan.

Beyond this, it also reflects the input of hundreds of staff, students, industry and Government partners who contributed to its development via an extensive consultation process.

This consultation process included three staff forums held at St Lucia, Gatton and Herston campuses, a forum with student representatives, extensive consultation with members of the University Senior Management Group, input from the University Senate, and an industry and Government consultation event hosted by the Vice-Chancellor.

Online feedback was also requested against six strategic focus areas, and responses were received from hundreds of staff and students. The input gathered through this process helped both refine the focus areas, and shape the initiatives and measures of success which are incorporated in the final plan.
